Concert this weekend! Carey Bell and Katie Kadarauch – April 15th
Join us Sunday April 15th for our next concert featuring an afternoon with San Francisco Symphony’s celebrated musicians Carey Bell, clarinet, and Katie Kadarauch, viola, along with special guest, pianist Robin Sutherland.

Described by the press as “a rather unconventional chamber music offering” this concert offers an exciting opportunity to get close to some of SF Symphony’s finest musicians as they perform solos, a duo and a trio in our intimate setting at Holy Innocents. Carey and Katie will offer insights into musical canons in general and will join forces to showcase their talents before welcoming special guest Robin Sutherland for the finale: Mozart’s Kegelstatt trio. Carey will be in conversation at 3:15pm for the pre-concert talk before the concert begins.

Noe Valley Chamber Music series is excited to present Musica Pacifica,
as they perform Dancing in the Isles, the Sequel! a rousing program of Baroque folk and dance music from Scotland, Ireland, and England.
One of Americas’s most exciting Baroque chamber ensembles featuring Judith Linsenberg, recorder │ Elizabeth Blumenstock, baroque violin │ Charles Sherman, harpsichord │ Shirley Hunt, viola de gamba returns to our stage with an exciting program of classical and traditional music from the British Isles. In response to the acclaim of their recent recording, Dancing in the Isles, the group brings a new program of their own arrangements of toe-tapping dance tunes and chamber works from the 17th and 18th centuries including dance suites from the English theater, Jacobean masque music, trio sonatas by Scots Oswald and McGibbon, as well as works with a Scottish flavor by Matteis and Veracini.
Check them out performing their music in 2010 at the Berkeley Early Music Festival concert!

We are thrilled to announce Noe Valley Chamber Music’s 2011-12 series.
Our upcoming lineup includes the high quality performers you have come to expect from our stellar series as well as innovative up-and-coming performers new to our stage. You’ll hear returning favorites from the SF Symphony Carey Bell and Katie Kaderauch; Nonsemble Six, a young ensemble from SF Conservatory of Music; highly acclaimed Musica Pacifica Baroque Ensemble; the unique a cappella sound of Clerestory; and the lively sound of The Rhythm Sisters. We welcome back cellist Angela Lee and violist David Kim as they join Karsten Windt, violin, and Jeffrey Sykes, piano for an exciting season opener, with tango and Spanish chamber music, and you won’t want to miss our Season Finale Benefit Concert featuring rising San Francisco Opera tenor Daniel Montenegro!
